Comfortis chewable tablets kill fleas and are indicated for the prevention and treatment of flea infestations on dogs for one month.

Comfortis has been know to cause vomiting after the initial dose. If your dog vomits within an hour of admistration, give your pet another dose. Eventhough vomiting has been observed, we highly recommend this product to control flea infestations. It can take 6 weeks or longer (longer  in cooler temperatures) to eliminate the fleas that were previously in the pupae or larval stage of development. But due to the fact that this is a relatively new product, flea resistance has not been observed.

CAUTION – Give comfortis with food for maximum effectiveness.

CAUTION – Avoid using this product in debilitated, sick or underweight pets. Always read the package insert before applying any parasite preventative or consult with your veterinarian.
